Anthony moved to New Zealand from France and joined Smart Power early in 2008. Since then he has been working on audits of commercial and industrial sites. Anthony qualified in France with a Diploma of Thermal Sciences and Energy Engineering majoring in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Engineering. He also has a Diploma in Energy Management and Renewable Energy. Anthony is recognised by NZQA as having a Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degree.

After gaining his first diploma, Anthony worked for a company installing HVAC systems for the dairy industry. Then, he was the technical support for the customers of the European leader in the production of stainless steel chimney pipes.

After he completed his second qualification in energy management and renewable energy at the University of Paris, he worked as energy manager for the Council of Chatelerault (50,000 inhabitants) where he was in charge of developing and implementing an energy conservation policy.
